Your Team The Investments Technology team is responsible for the design, development, and support of custom-built applications and integrations involving 3rd party/vendor products. Our portfolio includes a suite of solutions for Middle/Back Office and Front Office teams. We are a full-stack team with expertise in architecture design, data management, API developments, UI Development, Low Code No Code, and CI/CD. We operate in an Agile/Scrum and LEAN environment and embrace the frequent pivoting that comes with shipping a best-in-class experience. Your Role We are looking for a self-motivated Prin. Solution Architect with a strong understanding of modern approaches for implementing technology solutions to provide technical leadership in our cloud application design. You will lead designing and reviewing all aspects of our technology ecosystem, and directly influence key architecture decisions. The ideal candidate will have a knack for simplifying complexity, demonstrates rigor, discipline, and transparency in decision-making. You Will Be Responsible For: - Develop forward-thinking strategies, processes, and best practices to reduce technical debt, improve data quality, and increase observability and reliability - Research, design, test, and evaluate new technologies, platforms, and 3rd-party products - Participate in deep architectural discussions to build confidence, influence decision-making for both within and outside the team - Ensure architecture standards by performing peer code reviews, analyzing performance, and evaluating security and scalability of code - Mentor our engineers, leaders, and lead by example - Participating in agile ceremonies (e.g., daily standup, release and sprint planning, demos, scrum of scrums) The Experience You Bring: - At least 15 years of experience in IT consulting or a related field with a strong focus on conceptualizing solution architecture - 5+ years in migrating/developing/architecting solutions in Cloud. AWS is preferred - 3+ years in CI/CD pipelines and related stack - Git, Bitbucket, Docker, Kubernetes - Experience in multi-cloud environments and in-depth understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions - Experience working in an Agile team and environment - Familiar with SSO solutions, such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID - Knowledge of Mule AnyPoint Platform is a plus - Experience with Low Code No Code tools (Appian BPM or similar) is a plus - Prior people management experience is a plus - Technology Support Operations exposure is a plus - TOGAF certification is a plus Academic Requirements: A bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience Knowledge of the Financial Services industry is a plus Full Time / Part Time: Full time Worker Type: Employee Job Exempt (Yes / No): Yes Workplace Model: At Invesco, our workplace model supports our culture and meets the needs of our clients while providing flexibility our employees value. Furthermore, you will be tasked with providing sizing and scalability recommendations, solving connectivity and deployment issues, and deploying application servers in enterprise environments. Experience with Agile development methodologies is necessary for this role. Excellent communication skills and experience in onshore and offshore development management model are also desired qualities for this position.,
