Job Description: As a Sr. Linux Administrator at Exela, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and managing FreeIPA servers and clients. You should have a strong background in identity management systems, specifically with FreeIPA, and be proficient in implementing and maintaining user authentication, authorization, and auditing processes. Your role will involve managing user accounts, groups, and policies within the FreeIPA environment to ensure high availability, replica set, and reliability of services. Collaboration with IT security teams to establish and enforce identity management policies will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to FreeIPA and integrated services, conduct regular system backups and updates for security compliance, and provide training and support to users and administrators on FreeIPA functionalities. To excel in this role, you must have proven experience with FreeIPA or similar identity management solutions, strong knowledge of Linux systems administration (particularly CentOS, RHEL, etc.), and familiarity with LDAP, Kerberos, DNS, and security protocols. Experience with scripting languages like Python and Bash for automation is essential. Additionally, you will be expected to install, configure, and maintain SFTP servers on Linux systems. This includes configuring SSH for secure SFTP operations, monitoring server performance and user activity, troubleshooting and resolving SFTP-related issues, and maintaining detailed documentation of SFTP configurations, user access, and security policies. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SFTP solutions with other systems while adhering to network protocols and security best practices.
