SSE / Consultant - Delphi Developer, Delphi, Pascal

You will be working as a Delphi Developer at NEC Software Solutions in Mumbai. The company is a leading provider of end-to-end IT services with over 30 years of experience in the industry. As a Delphi Developer, your role will involve developing high-quality software using Java technologies, creating and executing comprehensive unit tests, supporting and maintaining software within agreed service levels, and working effectively in an Agile software development environment. You will also be responsible for promptly escalating issues, identifying risks, producing technical specifications, and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve requirements gaps. Additionally, you will proactively suggest and implement process improvements to enhance performance and productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Develop high-quality software using Java technologies - Create and execute comprehensive Unit Tests on developed software - Support and maintain developed software within agreed service level targets and quality objectives - Work effectively in a dynamic Agile software development environment - Escalate issues promptly and contribute to their resolution - Identify risks/issues and suggest ways to mitigate/resolve - Produce technical specifications and software designs based on high-level customer requirements - Communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders - Proactively suggest and implement process improvements - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes - Work flexibly and imaginatively in a changing and evolving project environment Qualifications: - Must have up to 6 years of relevant experience - Worked on Delphi or related Pascal-based technologies, SQL (across MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle), XML - Exposure to Java 8/.NET/C++, REST services, and document/mail archiving systems is a plus - Comfortable with version control using Git (Bitbucket) and aware of unit testing practices - Familiarity with basic Windows command-line usage is a value add Additional Details: NEC Software Solutions (India) Private Limited is a hub for offshore support and technology services, with a strong reputation for delivering robust, market-ready software products that exceed customer expectations.
