In your role, you will be responsible for the New Product Introduction of the latest Intel and AMD based CPU technologies within X86 based distributed systems, as well as integrating hardware features with Nutanix Software. Your tasks will involve collaborating with development, subject matter experts, documentation, and product management teams to enhance product quality in a fast-paced setting. Additionally, you will engage with customers and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to various hardware components and server virtualization technologies. To excel in this role, you should possess a good understanding of x86 Platform Hardware and Firmware components such as BIOS, BMC, SSDs, and NICs. Strong code debugging skills and a passion for development in languages like C++, C, Python, or Go Lang are essential. Experience with Python development, scripting, and automation frameworks is highly desirable, as is familiarity with linux systems and kernel driver integration. Ideally, you should hold a degree in Computer Science or Mathematics and have 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
