SSD Validation

As a highly skilled Senior Firmware Engineer with expertise in storage system design and firmware development, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Design, develop, and customize controller firmware for enterprise-class storage solutions. - Work on firmware development with a strong focus on NAND Flash technologies (SLC, TLC, QLC). - Contribute to modeling efforts for storage products from concept through production. - Support device characterization, benchmarking, and performance optimization. - Collaborate closely with architecture, hardware, validation, and software teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Debug and troubleshoot complex firmware issues across multiple layers. - Ensure best practices by working within Agile/Scrum methodologies. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - 8-10 years of experience in embedded firmware development, preferably in the storage domain (SSD/HDD). - Strong proficiency in C/C++ and assembly programming. - Hands-on experience with storage interfaces: PCIe/NVMe, AHCI, SATA, SAS, UFS, eMMC. - Proven experience with firmware design, customization, and support. - Strong analytical and abstract thinking ability with excellent problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - Prior exposure to device drivers is desirable. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
