Job Description – Store SupervisorPosition Overview The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store/warehouse. This role ensures proper receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of materials while maintaining accuracy, safety, and compliance with company policies. The supervisor will also lead and coordinate the store staff to achieve efficiency and smooth functioning of inventory management. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day store operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and record-keeping of materials. Monitor stock levels, conduct periodic stock checks, and reconcile discrepancies. Ensure proper labeling, arrangement, and safe storage of all items. Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/software/manual registers. Plan and oversee timely replenishment of stock to avoid shortages or overstocking. Ensure compliance with safety, security, and hygiene standards in the store area. Train, guide, and supervise store assistants and support staff. Coordinate with procurement, accounts, production, and other departments for material requirements. Prepare and submit reports on stock movement, consumption, and inventory status. Handle vendor deliveries and returns efficiently. Support audits (internal/external) with accurate records and documentation. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in store/warehouse supervision. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and practices. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP/Inventory software. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks. Good communication and team management skills.
