Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sales Leadership: Devise and implement sales strategies to achieve/exceed both domestic and export targets. Provide regular sales MIS reports, market trends, competitor analysis, and customer feedback. Team Mentorship & Leadership: Support and guide junior sales executives, empower through training, and foster a winning sales culture. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Sync with production, logistics, finance, and marketing teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Market Intelligence: Continuously track market shifts, competition, and customer needs to refine strategies. Qualifications & Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Metallurgy/Materials), Business, or a related discipline. Experience: ~7–10 years in sales within steel, wire rod, fastener, or allied industries. Proven track record with sales targets, collections, and client management. Technical Acumen: Familiarity with wire rod applications, steel manufacturing, and product specifications. Sales & Commercial Skills: Strong negotiation, territory planning, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities. Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and MIS/reporting frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident, client-facing demeanor. Willingness to travel in and around Ludhiana for client visits.
