Position: Kindergarten to Primary Teacher Location: [Little Angel's School/Gottigere] Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Kindergarten to Primary Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, energetic, and passionate about teaching young learners. The role requires a creative individual with excellent communication skills, a strong command of English, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new teaching methods and strategies. Key Responsibilities: Deliver Engaging Lessons: Create and deliver interactive and age-appropriate lessons for Kindergarten to Primary school children, using a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles. Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Establish a nurturing, supportive, and safe classroom environment that promotes creativity, curiosity, and emotional well-being. Promote Language Development: Help students develop their English language skills through engaging activities, storytelling, phonics, and other fun learning strategies. Encourage Critical Thinking: Use innovative teaching techniques to foster creativity, problem-solving, and independent thinking in students. Adapt to Student Needs: Assess the individual learning needs of each student and modify teaching strategies accordingly to ensure all students succeed. Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other teachers and staff to plan interdisciplinary lessons and ensure a well-rounded educational experience for students. Parental Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and behavior, and offer guidance on how they can support learning at home. Participate in Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest educational trends and teaching methods, and actively participate in training and workshops to improve teaching skills. Key Skills and Qualifications: Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (or equivalent qualifications). Experience: Prior experience in teaching young children (Kindergarten to Primary) is preferred, but not mandatory. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. The ability to explain complex concepts in simple, understandable ways. Creativity & Innovation: Ability to develop fun, engaging, and educational activities that capture students’ attention and encourage active participation. Adaptability: Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new teaching methods, technology, and changing student needs. Energetic & Enthusiastic: A highly active, positive, and motivating personality, able to keep students engaged throughout the day. Patience & Empathy: A compassionate and understanding approach to working with young children and diverse learners. Other Requirements: Strong classroom management skills.
