Role Overview: The Plant Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of the rice processing mill/plant to ensure optimal functionality, efficiency, and safety of all equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, experience in a manufacturing or processing environment, and excellent leadership skills. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for plant machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. - Manage the scheduling, oversight, and execution of routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks for all plant machinery, ensuring timely and efficient completion. - Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintenance standards. - Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies to ensure availability while controlling costs and maintaining cost-effective operations. - Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks. - Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance. Key Skills:  Have a positive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.  Excellent leadership and team management skills.  Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.  Proficient in using maintenance management software. Qualification: Industry Type - FMCG Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience : - Minimum of 10 - 20 years in maintenance management, preferably in a rice processing plant or similar manufacturing environment. - Strong knowledge of plant machinery, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
