Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in MS SQL Server / Oracle / PostgreSQL development

Must-Have Skills

• Advanced SQL development: Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, CTEs
• Strong in performance tuning: Indexing, Query Plan analysis, optimization techniques
• Hands-on with Dynamic SQL, Table Type Variables, and Temporary Tables
• Experience handling JSON within SQL (parsing, transformation, storage)
• Ability to manage and process large datasets in production environments

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle and database design principles
• Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
• Experience in prioritizing tasks, handling escalations, and collaborating with distributed teams
• Comfortable coordinating with onsite stakeholders for requirements gathering and delivery
• Willingness to work extended hours when needed

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to LLM-driven architecture and GenAI product integration
• Hands-on with Vector DBs (e.g., Vespa, Qdrant, FAISS) or Graph DBs (e.g., Neo4j)
• Experience working with LangChain, RAG pipelines, or embedding-based search systems
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, or willingness to learn and contribute to such projects
• 12 years leading junior developers or small database teams

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable relational database systems
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Participate in schema design and data warehouse optimization
• Collaborate with AI and LLM teams to build context-aware data pipelines
• Contribute to retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) using hybrid SQL + vector search
• Diagnose performance issues and implement efficient database solutions
• Maintain proper documentation of schema, logic, and stored procedures
• Support deployment and monitoring of LLM-powered applications
