Sr. Video Editor - Social Media

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sr. Video Editor to join our team! As a Video Editor with 5-7 years of experience in Digital Media/Social Media, you will play a crucial role in curating and editing content tailored specifically for our GenZ audience and trends. You will also be responsible for the smooth flow of our post-production process, ensuring all projects meet deadlines. You will act as a key liaison between various departments, keeping everyone informed and on track. Your responsibilities will include: Video Editing: Editing and curating video content for various digital platforms, with a keen understanding of GenZ preferences and current social media trends. Collaborating with the content team to develop engaging and innovative video concepts that resonate with our target audience. Identifying pre-existing videos from our library that align with current trends and themes. Utilizing your expertise in digital media to optimize video content for different platforms and formats, ensuring maximum engagement and impact. Maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency across all video content, adhering to brand guidelines and objectives. Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in video editing and digital media, and implementing best practices to enhance our content strategy. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience as a Video Editor in the digital media/social media industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and understanding of GenZ content. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects is preferred. Excellent storytelling and narrative skills, with a creative flair. Awareness of GenZ preferences, interests, and cultural nuances, with a passion for creating content that resonates with this demographic.
