Sr. Veeam Backup Administrator

You are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Veeam Backup Administrator to join the IT infrastructure team at SourceMash Technologies in Bangalore. As a Veeam Backup Administrator, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, maintaining, and ensuring the performance of backup systems, primarily utilizing Veeam Backup & Replication. Your role will focus on guaranteeing the integrity, availability, and security of all backed-up data across the enterprise environment. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in backup administration, preferably with Veeam, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in implementing and managing data protection and recovery strategies. Strong problem-solving skills are essential for efficiently identifying and resolving backup-related issues that may arise. Additionally, your understanding of storage systems, capacity planning, and retention policies will be crucial in this role. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in backup and disaster recovery using Veeam Backup & Replication, with a preference for working in enterprise-level environments. Familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments, knowledge of storage systems such as NAS and SAN, and networking basics related to data transfer and backup optimization are required. Your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain records of customer conversations and analyze data will be key to your success.
