As a Senior Test Specialist at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in evolving the infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include harnessing cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure, ensuring the seamless delivery of digital solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Strong experience in QA Manual and Automation. - Experience in Mainframe based application Testing. - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously as an individual contributor. - Proficiency in testing concepts such as estimations and creation of test strategy/planning. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with global teams/stakeholders. - Strong analytical capability and ability to lead projects independently. - Prior experience in preparing test metrics/reports. - Proficiency in SQL, Agile Methodology, Selenium, and automation frameworks. - Additional valued skills include Putty, GitLab, Duo for automation and coding, knowledge of Test automation tools, and API test automation using REST Assured tool/Karate, Playwright. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in QA Manual and Automation. - Experience in Mainframe based application Testing. - Strong testing concepts and analytical skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Proficiency in SQL and Agile Methodology. - Prior experience in preparing test metrics/reports. - Proficiency in Selenium and automation frameworks. The role is based out of Pune. In this role, you will design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, and ensure software quality and reliability. You will be accountable for: - Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and strategies. - Creating and executing automated test scripts. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria. - Performing root cause analysis for identified defects and supporting defect resolution. - Promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
