As a Senior Test Analyst with 6 to 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the creation and maintenance of test cases and test scripts using Cypress Automation. - Providing detailed test metrics and reporting to stakeholders to track progress and quality. - Managing and tracking defects using JIRA to ensure timely resolution and communication with development teams. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks in the testing process. - Conducting thorough regression testing to ensure software stability and performance. - Implementing best practices in test and defect management to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Analyzing test results and providing actionable insights to improve product quality. - Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies in all testing activities. - Mentoring and guiding junior testers in best practices and methodologies. - Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and tools. - Communicating effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback. - Contributing to the overall success of the project by ensuring high-quality deliverables. Qualifications: - Strong experience in Test Metrics and Reporting, Test and Defect Management, and Defect Tracking Tools like JIRA. - Proficiency in JavaScript and Cypress Automation. - Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance and Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work in a hybrid model with day shifts. - Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. - Ability to mentor and guide junior team members. - Commitment to continuous improvement and learning. - Attention to detail and a focus on quality. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. - Proactive and results-oriented approach.
