Job Description

As a Sr. Test Analyst with 6 to 10 years of experience, your role will involve leading the development and execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality. You will oversee the creation and maintenance of test cases and test scripts using Cypress Automation, providing detailed test metrics and reporting to stakeholders. Your responsibilities will also include managing and tracking defects using JIRA, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, conducting regression testing, and implementing best practices in test and defect management. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans - Oversee the creation and maintenance of test cases and test scripts using Cypress Automation - Provide detailed test metrics and reporting to stakeholders - Manage and track defects using JIRA - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks - Conduct thorough regression testing - Implement best practices in test and defect management - Analyze test results and provide actionable insights - Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies - Mentor and guide junior testers - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives - Communicate effectively with stakeholders - Contribute to the overall success of the project Qualifications: - Strong experience in Test Metrics and Reporting, Test and Defect Management, and Defect Tracking Tools JIRA - Proficiency in JavaScript and Cypress Automation - Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance and Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and collaboration abilities - Ability to work in a hybrid model with day shifts - Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience - Ability to mentor and guide junior team members - Commitment to continuous improvement and learning - Attention to detail and a focus on quality - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks - Proactive and results-oriented approach,
