Sr. Technical Leader

Role Overview: As a Tech Lead for Android Framework, you will be responsible for Android framework and native development, as well as customizations. Your role will involve extensive work on Android framework customization, utilizing your excellent skills in Java and/or C++, Android SDK, and Android NDK. You will focus on Android KPI, boot, and memory optimizations, along with converting Android HIDL to AIDL interfaces implementation and customizations. Additionally, you will be involved in Android CTS and VTS debugging, issue fixing, and interfacing with various domains within the Android Product Line to achieve stability metrics. Understanding customer requirements, ensuring timely delivery of features, and reporting status, issues, and progress to management will be key aspects of your role. Effort estimation for Change Requests from Product Management and pre-integration testing are also part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Work on Android framework and native development, including customizations - Extensively customize Android framework - Utilize Java and/or C++, Android SDK, and Android NDK effectively - Focus on Android KPI, boot, and memory optimizations - Convert Android HIDL to AIDL interfaces and customize implementations - Debug Android CTS and VTS, and fix issues - Interface with various domains within Android Product Line for stability metrics - Understand customer requirements and deliver features on time and with quality - Report status, issues, and progress to management - Estimate effort for Change Requests from Product Management - Ensure pre-integration testing and verification for the functional area and its features Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in embedded systems, with a focus on Android Framework and Native development - Strong programming skills in Java and C++ - Good understanding of Android HALs (HIDL and AIDL) - Knowledge of Android Boot Sequence and various Framework module architecture - Ability to troubleshoot issues in a run-time environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Android System concepts - Experience in debugging Android ROMs, ANR, Blank screen, and crashes - Android development and debugging experience with robust systems - Proficient in multi-threaded programming and middleware solution development in an Android environment - Strong fundamentals of IPC and OS concepts - Creative problem-solving skills - Good experience in Android internals - Experience in Android build, porting, and customization - System-level debugging expertise - Preferred experience in system integration for automotive infotainment systems (Note: The JD does not include any additional details about the company.),
