Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for interpreting the application/feature/component design to develop the same in accordance with specifications, coding, debugging, testing, documenting, and communicating product/component/feature development stages. Your role will involve selecting appropriate technical options for development, optimizing efficiency, cost, and quality, influencing and improving customer satisfaction, and setting FAST goals for self/team while providing feedback to FAST goals of team members. Key Responsibilities: - Code as per design and follow coding standards, templates, and checklists - Review code for team and peers - Create/review templates, checklists, guidelines, standards for design/process/development - Create/review deliverable documents, design documentation, requirements, and test cases/results - Define and govern configuration management plan and ensure compliance from the team - Review and create unit test cases, scenarios, and execution - Review test plan created by the testing team and provide clarifications - Advise Software Developers on design and development with a deep understanding of the business problem - Manage delivery of modules and/or user stories - Perform defect RCA and mitigation, identify defect trends, and take proactive measures to improve quality - Create and provide input for effort estimation for projects - Consume and contribute to project-related documents, SharePoint libraries, and client universities - Execute and monitor release process - Contribute to the creation of design/architecture for Applications/Features/Business Components/Data Models - Clarify requirements, provide guidance to the development team, present design options to customers, and conduct product demos - Set FAST goals, provide feedback, understand aspirations of team members, and ensure team engagement - Take relevant domain/technology certifications Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of .NET software development experience building web-based applications OR a Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of .NET software development experience - Proficiency in Microsoft development stack: .NET Core, .NET Framework 4.5+, C Sharp, JavaScript, RESTful services, ORM, T-SQL, JSON, MVC, XML, HTML, and CSS - Sound coding practices such as unit testing, object-oriented programming, and patterns - Advanced SQL skills including stored procedures, indexes, triggers, and functions - Experience in building applications in Azure-based Cloud architectures and designing solutions with modern architecture patterns - Knowledge of secure coding practices including familiarity with OWASP top ten - Ability to use UML to model/diagram software solutions Additional Details of the company: This job requires experience in building best-in-class advancements to products.
