Join us as a Senior System Analyst at Barclays, where you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality, and governance standards. You will be accountable for analyzing data and interpreting it to provide meaningful insights on patterns and behaviors for informed decision-making. Utilize your understanding of databases to provide efficient SQLs to retrieve and interpret data. Experience in designing tech data flows or process flows will be essential. Collaborate with multiple technology teams across various geographical locations, ensuring that delivered capabilities meet the scope and requirements agreed with business stakeholders. Ensure alignment of delivery processes to Agile methodology and DevOps, fostering team spirit among team members and colleagues in various geographical locations while participating in and contributing to the program. Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications: - Data Analysis experience (7-9 years) in Risk, Finance, Treasury/Investment Banking, and IT transformation projects - Tools/Technologies: Strong SQL, Advanced Excel, Jira, Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint - Core competencies: Data Analysis, Business System Analysis, Requirement Gathering, Solution Validation, Data-Driven Consulting Preferred Experience: - Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery - Experience working in any data mining/data processing projects - Experience in analyzing large volumes of data and ability to test the data if needed This role is based in Pune. Purpose of the role: Collaborate with product owners and technical teams involved in the product development process, utilizing knowledge of the bank's technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap. Accountabilities: - Provide subject matter expertise to support collaboration between product owners and the technical side of product development. - Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap, communicating with relevant stakeholders and the development team. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility. - Develop and implement assessments for continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance. - Monitor product performance to identify optimization opportunities that meet the bank's performance standards. - Stay updated on the latest industry technology trends and technologies to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery. As an Assistant Vice President, you are expected to advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Lead a team performing complex tasks, deliver work impacting the whole business function, set objectives, and coach employees towards achieving those objectives.
