1. Define the overall architecture and design principles for the organization's Managed File Transfer systems and solutions.2. Design and develop file transfer workflows, automation scripts, and customizations within the Globalscape MFT platform.3. Integrate the Globalscape MFT platform with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, and cloud storage solutions etc.4. Collaborate with stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and security teams, to understand file transfer requirements, compliance needs, and security standards.5. Assess the existing file transfer infrastructure and identify areas for improvement, scalability, and optimization.6. Implement best practices for data integrity, security, and compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards.7. Determine integration strategies for connecting MFT systems with other enterprise applications, databases, and cloud services.8. Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements.9. Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks related to MFT, recommending suitable solutions for the organization.10. Collaborate with development teams to provide technical guidance and support during the implementation and customization of MFT solutions.11. Work closely with network and infrastructure teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and performance of MFT systems.12. Create documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, implementation guidelines, and operational procedures.13. Identify and diagnose technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide appropriate solutions or workarounds.14. Continuously update your technical knowledge and stay informed about new features and enhancements in Globalscape products.Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.2. Proven experience as an Globalscape MFT Senior Specialist or in a similar role, with a deep understanding of managed file transfer technologies, protocols, and security concepts.3. In-depth knowledge of file transfer protocols such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, AS2, and HTTP/S.4. Experience with MFT solutions like Globalscape EFT, MoveIT, GoAnywhere or similar platforms.5. Strong understanding of data encryption, digital certificates, SSL/TLS, access controls, and security compliance frameworks.6. Proficiency in system integration methodologies and technologies, including API integration, web services, and database connectivity.7. Proficiency in writing Advanced Workflow scripts8. Proficiency in Powershell, VBScripts.9. Familiarity with cloud-based file transfer solutions, hybrid architectures, and multi-cloud deployments.10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex file transfer requirements and design appropriate solutions.11. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.12.
