In this role as an AI/Gen-AI Architect at Birlasoft, you will have the following responsibilities: - Designing and developing innovative AI/Gen-AI solutions customized for various industry verticals, including Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), Energy & Utilities (EnU), Life Sciences, and Manufacturing. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs, and then translating them into scalable AI architectures. - Leading the end-to-end AI project lifecycle, from conception through deployment, ensuring that solutions adhere to best practices and organizational standards. - Evaluating and selecting appropriate AI technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance performance and scalability. - Conducting research on emerging AI trends and technologies, and providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. - Establishing guidelines for data governance, model management, and deployment strategies to ensure compliance and ethical use of AI. - Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing within the organization. - Presenting technical solutions and project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership in a manner that translates complex concepts into understandable terms. The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. - 7+ years of experience in AI/Gen-AI architecture or a related role, with a focus on solution design and implementation. - Proven experience in building AI/Gen-AI solutions across multiple verticals, particularly BFSI, EnU, Life Sciences, and Manufacturing. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. - Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision techniques. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI services for deploying scalable solutions. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure environments. - Excellent communication skills, with the capability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, the following skills would be beneficial: - Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark) and data engineering practices. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) in AI projects. - Experience in implementing AI governance frameworks and ethical AI practices. - Previous experience in a consulting role or working with clients to deliver AI solutions. - Advanced certifications in AI or cloud technologies (e.g., Azure Certified Machine Learning, AWS ML Engineer).
