Job Description

You will be joining Experian as a FE Sr Software Engineer, where your primary responsibility will be designing, developing, building, testing, and deploying web tier applications using AWS technologies. As an ECS Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the existing platform into new technologies for enhanced maintainability in a high-activity environment. Your role will involve offering insights and analysis on the existing codebase, prioritizing and working on assigned tasks, participating in project meetings, and collaborating effectively with your team. You will be expected to develop re-usable patterns, encourage innovation to improve team velocity, and stay updated on emerging topics related to your tasks to provide effective solutions. To excel in this role, you should have 6+ years of experience in front-end development using JavaScript, ES6, Typescript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design. Additionally, you should have 4+ years of experience in building responsive, single-page web applications using React/Redux, with strong knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and modern front-end build pipelines and tools. Experience in server-side rendering, MFE's, building secure software, implementing Cloud/Hybrid Cloud AWS solutions, configuration management using GIT, issue tracking, estimation, and Agile practices will be beneficial. Moreover, familiarity with data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, or Spark is desirable. Being a positive and active member of the team is essential, where you can contribute your opinions constructively and network with senior members in your area of expertise. This role will require a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 6 to 8 years of related experience.
