Sr. Software Engineer- Pl/Sql

As a Software Engineer DB, your primary aim is to address issues related to Data Migration, including Validation, Clean-up, and Mapping. It is crucial for you to understand the importance of Data Dictionaries. Key Responsibilities: - Develop procedures and functions using PL/SQL. - Evaluate Oracle features and related products. - Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies. - Design and implement databases. - Implement and maintain database security by creating and managing users and roles, as well as assigning privileges. - Perform database and application tuning for optimal performance. - Set up and maintain documentation and standards. - Plan for growth and changes through capacity planning. - Provide 24x7 support as needed. - Troubleshoot technical issues and provide consultation to development teams. Experience Level & Qualification: - 4-8 years of experience as a PL/SQL developer. - Educational Background: B.Sc / BE / B. Tech. Essential Skills: - Solid knowledge of Java, SQL, and PL/SQL with a good understanding of Oracle & PostgreSQL. - Experience in creating PL SQL packages, procedures, triggers, functions, views, and migrating complex data sets. - Proficiency in writing PL/SQL Triggers, Functions, Views, Cursors, Stored Procedures, and Exceptions in Oracle & PostgreSQL. - Familiarity with integrating data into other software systems. - Analytical and programming capabilities, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies. - Working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) Environment. - Oracle and operating system performance tuning skills. - Understanding of Oracle data integrity. - Experience in code migration, database change management, and data management throughout the development life cycle. - Ability to provide strategic database direction for the organization.,
