Reliable all-in-one solution for physical and virtual servers with optional, integrated hardware from a single vendor What the role offers With limited guidance, design, develop, deploy, maintain, and evolve internal and customer-facing products Leverage Test-Driven Development Review, provide feedback, and approve code merge requests Mentor other team members in coding best-practice and security paradigms Collaborate with Product, Development, and QA teams throughout the product development lifecycle Continuously improve development processes and product quality Promote continuous integration/delivery/deployment characteristics Facilitate triage and root-cause analysis on system defects Pair with other team members on development efforts Create proofs-of-concept for new technologies Continuously learn Create and maintain product documentation What you need to succeed Fluency in English written and verbal communications 6+ years of production web application development using ASP.NET core or ASP.NET EF Core 5+ years of experience with backend development in C#, Unit Test, Moq 2+ years of experience with backend development in ASP.NET Core 3+ years of experience with frontend development, leveraging Javascript and frameworks like React.js or similar Relational and non-relational database modeling Demonstrated fluency in developing cloud based solutions, preferably AWS Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDb Ability to demonstrate the process of Test-Driven Development Ability to identify and select common design patterns for applicable use-cases Ability to articulate the purpose and importance of the SOLID principles One Last thing A degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience Knowledge in the following languages in AWS services, such as ECS, Lambda, S3, Api Gateway, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch, Aurora MySql, DynamoDb Knowledge in Object Oriented Programming Knowledge in the following frontend frameworks React.js, Redux, Redux-Toolkit Awareness and application of UI/UX principles AWS SDK knowledge AWS Certification(s) Understanding of software security and secure design principles At OpenText we understand and value diversity in our employees and we are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
