Sr Software engineer / Lead Engineer

As a Backend Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping our technology strategy, leading the engineering team, and developing scalable product solutions. Your expertise in system design, data analytics, and a strong product mindset will be fundamental to the success of our projects. You will be responsible for leading and building scalable products, rapidly developing POCs by integrating existing solutions and technologies, defining architecture, coding standards, and best practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to create impactful solutions, ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability are also key aspects of your role. Your ability to make key technology decisions, adopt new tools, optimize product performance through data analytics, mentor engineers, and troubleshoot system bottlenecks will be essential for success. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of software development experience with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role. Proficiency in the preferred tech stack including Python, React, AWS, Kubernetes, SQL, Pandas is required. Strong problem-solving skills, data-driven decision-making, expertise in SQL, query optimization, scalable database design, system design, microservices, and DevOps practices are also necessary. A strong product mindset with a focus on business impact will be highly valued.
