Sr. Software Engineer (Java)

As a Senior Software Engineer (Java) at Armada, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality Java-based applications. Your role will involve collaborating with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, leading architecture and design discussions, writing clean and efficient code, and mentoring junior developers. Additionally, you will optimize application performance, ensure security, reliability, and scalability, and stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to improve development processes. Participation in Agile development methodologies is also expected. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java-based applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements. - Lead architecture and design discussions for scalable solutions. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. - Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and optimize application performance. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends. - Participate in Agile development methodologies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in Java development. - Strong knowledge of Java frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA. - Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture. - Proficiency in database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. - Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, Angular, or React is a plus. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is desirable. - Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
