Sr Software Development Engineer

The ideal candidate for this role has extensive experience in developing scalable and reliable backend systems using Java, services, and APIs to deliver value to customers. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering impactful contributions and proactively identifying areas for improvement and future work. Your responsibilities will include delivering and owning large features from end-to-end, collaborating closely with the product team to ensure high impact for customers, and finding ways to monitor and enhance the quality, reliability, and security of our systems. Adhering to engineering best practices, you will design, analyze, code, test, and deploy applications to meet the business requirements of large, complex projects. To excel in this role, you should have 3-5 years of solid experience in Java/J2EE and developing large-scale systems, a strong technical background in CS fundamentals, and expertise in building and maintaining highly available backend distributed systems. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment are essential. A passion for translating business and product ideas into engineering solutions is also highly valued.
