Sr Software Development Consultant I

Role Overview: You will be responsible for migrating custom components to AEM Core Components, developing front-end architecture using React and HTL, and ensuring compliance with WCAG standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end deliverables with AEM back-end services. Key Responsibilities: - Migrate custom components to AEM Core Components for consistency and scalability - Develop and standardize front-end architecture using React, HTL (Sightly), and a component library with Storybook - Build responsive and accessible UI components, ensuring compliance with WCAG standards - Create and manage AEM templates, dialogs, and clientlibs to support content authors - Implement performance optimizations such as lazy loading, caching, and image optimization for faster page loads - Connect front-end components to Sling Models and APIs for dynamic data rendering - Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end deliverables with AEM back-end services - Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration to ensure quality and performance Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3+ years working on AEM - Good knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), especially AEM Core Components, Sling Models, and clientlibs - Good understanding of Apache Sling, JCR, JSR-170/283, JSR-168/286, and Apache Felix - Expertise with XML, XHTML, JavaScript, JSP, and RESTful web services - Expert in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS / LESS), modern JavaScript (ES6+) and working knowledge of HTL (Sightly) and AEM client libraries - Experience with React or similar modern front-end frameworks - Familiarity with responsive design, web accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization techniques - Experience building AEM templates, dialogs, components, client-side interactivity - Familiarity with front-end build/test tooling (Webpack, Storybook, unit testing frameworks) - Good understanding of integrating front-end with back-end via Sling Models / APIs - Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines - Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams,
