Sr. Software Developer

Role Overview: You will be a key member of the Information Services department as a Sr. Software Developer. Your role will involve being a reliable and hardworking team player who can effectively communicate with team members and clients. You will be responsible for writing clean code, implementing new features, fixing bugs, and managing schema migrations in coordination with new features. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a strong support to the team of developers based in Vadodara office - Work closely with clients in Houston, Texas, USA, participating in daily stand-ups, iteration planning, and audio/video teleconferencing sessions as needed - Write clean code with good nomenclature, sensible tests, and comments when necessary - Write unit tests, integration tests, and acceptance tests - Implement new features and fix bugs in various technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, C#, and SQL - Evolve databases and manage schema migrations in coordination with new features Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in computer programming - 6+ years of experience with C# and the Microsoft .NET stack - Strong command of verbal and written English language - Proficiency in C#, SQL, LINQ, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, Razor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP - Knowledge of MVC, MVVM, Dependency Injection, IoC, and other design patterns - Experience with a JavaScript templating engine such as Knockout or Angular - Familiarity with Git or other distributed source code management tools - Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices - Ability to solve complex problems, communicate clearly, and work effectively in a dynamic environment Note: The job requires you to be a reliable and hardworking team player with strong technical skills and a customer-driven philosophy.
