As a Lead Software Developer for this role based in Pune, with over 6 years of experience in Java development, your primary responsibility will be to: - Lead the design, architecture, and development of system functionality using Java/J2EE, microservices, Hibernate, and RESTful services. - Guide and mentor a development team; perform code reviews and ensure best practices are followed. - Build scalable, high-performance applications and ensure their reliability and security. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust solutions. - Utilize software engineering tools, version control, test-driven development, and CI/CD methodologies. - Apply strong database and SQL knowledge with Oracle/MySQL, including performance tuning and optimization. - Optional: Knowledge of frameworks like jPOS and Angular is a plus. - Remain current with industry trends and introduce best practices and design patterns as applicable.
