As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will play a crucial role in our development team, leading the design, development, and maintenance of efficient, scalable, and user-friendly Shopify stores. Your responsibilities will include customizing and enhancing e-commerce websites using Shopify's platform. You will be involved in various aspects of the Shopify development lifecycle. Your duties and responsibilities will involve writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code for Shopify themes and customizations while ensuring adherence to best practices and Shopify's guidelines. You will lead the development and maintenance of complex e-commerce features, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other developers. Additionally, conducting thorough code reviews, offering constructive feedback, and writing, maintaining, and optimizing tests for reliability and performance will be part of your role. You will develop and manage reusable components and custom sections within Shopify themes, work with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end components with Shopify's backend services, and create comprehensive technical documentation to support ongoing development and knowledge sharing. Staying updated with the latest technologies, frameworks, and methodologies relevant to Shopify development will be essential to enhance existing processes and solutions. To qualify for this role, you should have 2.6 to 6 years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on Shopify. Advanced proficiency in Shopify's Liquid templating language, knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, and experience in customizing Shopify themes and working with Shopify's APIs and app integrations are required. Proficiency in using version control systems like Git, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor and guide junior developers are also necessary. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. The work location for this position is in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and the working model is on-site at our client locations globally, including the USA, UK, Australia, and the Middle East.
