Sr. Shopify Developer

As a Shopify Developer, your primary responsibility will be to create an engaging and knowledgeable online Shopify store that boosts sales and revenue. You will be tasked with crafting bespoke Shopify themes and customizing existing templates according to set brand guidelines. Your expertise in all aspects of the ECommerce platform will be crucial in delivering unique and innovative front-end user experiences in collaboration with the UX and UI Design Teams. Additionally, you will ensure seamless integration with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps to enhance the shop's efficiency and functionality. Regular website testing and debugging will be essential to enhance performance and provide technical support when needed to safeguard the enterprise against failures. Your goal will be to increase conversion rates by optimizing the website for maximum effectiveness. To excel in this role, you should possess a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Your experience should include a solid foundation in shop construction, launch, and maintenance, along with proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Familiarity with the DOM, custom themes, Storefront API, Liquid templating, and Shopify's theming system is necessary. Previous exposure to debugging third-party Shopify apps and developing responsive layouts for various devices is also expected. Your expertise in vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and current JavaScript frameworks will be valuable, as well as your ability to work with Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields. Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to feedback provision are essential for this role. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, based in Rajkot, Gujarat. The ideal candidate should be able to commute reliably or plan to relocate before commencing work.
