Sr RTR Accountant

As a Senior RTR Accountant at CBRE GL, your role involves handling complex accounting activities related to maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger. You will be part of the Controlling job function, responsible for managing the organization's financial controls and preparing financial reports for management and shareholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Answer escalated questions regarding various accounting issues and reports. - Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and various other accounting statements or financial reports. - Review the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications. - Evaluate various complex accounting variances, reports, and records. Make recommendations regarding reserves, assets, and expenditures. - Maintain, record, and reconcile billings and accounts receivables for large clients, markets, or accounts. - Create month-end accounting entries and reconcile discrepancies. - Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and verify data accuracy from the subsystem. - Examine financial statements and documents for conformance with accounting requirements. - Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems. - Lead by example, impacting the quality of work for yourself and the team. - Work within standardized procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. - Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. - Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. - Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience and apply appropriate judgment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products like Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset. - Advanced math skills for calculating figures such as percentages and fractions.,
