Sr. QA Automation

As a Sr. QA Automation Engineer at Simform, you will play a crucial role in ensuring software quality by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. Your expertise in automation frameworks and collaboration with development teams will contribute to the integration of testing into the CI/CD pipeline. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for functionality, performance, and security validation. - Implement and maintain automation frameworks such as Selenium and Cypress. - Identify and resolve test failures, regressions, and stability issues. - Enhance test coverage, performance, and reliability across different environments. - Ensure that automated tests are efficient, repeatable, and maintainable. - Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborate with developers, QA, and engineering teams to refine test strategies. - Debug and troubleshoot application and automation issues. - Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman and RestAssured. - Utilize SQL for database validation and test data management. - Adhere to Agile methodologies in a Scrum environment. - Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, and version control systems like Git and Bitbucket. - Manage test cases and defects with Jira, TestRail, or similar tools. Required Skills and Qualifications: - 4-6 years of experience in QA automation with expertise in developing and maintaining test scripts. - Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or Ruby. - Solid understanding of automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, and NUnit. - Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and GitHub. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve testing issues. Preferred Skills: - Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker). - Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. - Exposure to network protocols and automation for network-related testing. - Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks like Appium or Calabash.
