This is an immediate start remote role. Job Title : Sr. Power BI SME / Power BI Architect Location: Remote Duration: 3-6 months+ Contract Years of Exp. required : 10 Years of experience Project Experience: He/she must have delivered 3-5 projects independently No of resources required: 1 Mandatory Skillset and Responsibilities : Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize KPIs, trends, and business insights. Collaborate with business users, analysts, and data engineers to gather requirements, perform data analysis, and understand reporting needs. Develop data models using Power BI (star/snowflake schemas, normalized structures) and ensure performance optimization. Create DAX measures and calculated columns for advanced analytics. Handle Power BI Service administration, including workspace management, dataset refresh schedules, row-level security (RLS), and deployment pipelines. Act as a technical advisor for Power BI best practices and help establish governance frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL Server, Azure, Excel, SharePoint, and APIs. Conduct code reviews, UAT sessions, and provide end-user training/documentation. Stay up to date with new Power BI features and industry trends to bring innovation to client engagements.
