Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable PHP-based web applications.
Strong proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using PHP Core and frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
Hands-on experience with database integration and management using MSSQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Ability to collaborate effectively with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, designers, and other cross-functional team members to deliver robust and high-quality solutions.
Skilled in conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
Experience in debugging and resolving application issues promptly and effectively.
Proven ability to optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Demonstrated experience in full project lifecycle including requirement gathering, architecture/design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
Practical knowledge of various testing practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.
Ability to mentor and support junior developers, sharing best practices and fostering technical growth.

Nice-to-Have:

Understanding of the general insurance domain.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of caching, session management, and web security best practices.
Willingness to stay current with emerging web technologies and implement them effectively.
Experience using project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
