Sr. PCB Layout Design Engineer

Role Overview: As a PCB Designer, your main responsibility will be to design single sided and double sided PCBs using industry standard techniques. You will need to ensure that consideration for DFM/DFT has been made to complete PCB designs in accordance with project time, cost, quality, and performance requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate strong knowledge about electronic components and perform component placement according to specific requirements while maintaining component integrity. - Design PCB layouts to develop high-speed and reliable circuits. - Understand and design circuit routing and schematics. - Utilize layout design software such as Altium and OrCAD effectively. - Have a strong understanding of CAD library administration, including symbol, footprint generation, and database administration. - Keep abreast of the latest design technology trends. - Develop and maintain documentation and requirements specifications for assigned projects. - Analyze and resolve design-related issues in a timely manner. - Collaborate with the project team to understand circuit requirements and limitations. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in designing single sided and double sided PCBs. - Experience in component placement and maintaining component integrity. - Familiarity with PCB layout design software like Altium and OrCAD. - Strong knowledge of CAD library administration, symbol generation, and database management. - Ability to analyze and resolve design issues efficiently. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the project team.
