Sr. Manager / Director Machine Learning

In a People Leadership role at Eightfold, you will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of talented engineers. Your focus will be on coaching, mentoring, and performance management to create a high-performing team environment. You will be responsible for owning, training, building, and deploying cutting-edge deep learning models across all Eightfold products. Additionally, you will collaborate on various ideas to ensure the existence of a highly reliable, world-class platform to run machine learning models. Your role will involve building high-performance, flexible infrastructure and services that can evolve rapidly to handle new technologies, techniques, and modeling approaches. You will also implement and operate an intuitive, easy-to-use, and flexible machine learning development framework, as well as build data pipelines to generate structure from unstructured data. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers - Own, train, build, and deploy cutting-edge deep learning models - Collaborate to ensure a reliable platform for ML models - Build high-performance, flexible infrastructure and services - Implement an intuitive and flexible ML development framework - Create industry best practices for Machine Learning in Recruiting - Work with various product teams to apply deep learning as relevant Qualifications Required: - Strong foundation in Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, and NLP - Hands-on experience in applying Natural Language Processing solutions - Ability to work cross-functionally & interface with data science experts - Familiarity with Language models like BERT, GPT-3, T-5 - BS, MS, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Mathematics - Knowledge of CS fundamental concepts and ML languages - Prior experience building and deploying ML models in production at scale - Understanding of data and/or ML systems across the stack - Extensive experience with scientific libraries in Python and ML frameworks - Experience with analyzing large datasets using Hadoop, Spark At Eightfold, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with world-class experts, and accelerate your career growth.
