As a Network Security Engineer, your role involves managing and operating both on-premises and cloud firewalls from Palo Alto, along with supporting on-premises network infrastructure involving Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Cisco Firewalls. Your responsibilities include analyzing network flows, capturing port-level details, and troubleshooting network issues, attending to incidents and problems, raising change requests, and following through change management processes. Additionally, you will coordinate with third-party support teams (e.g., Orange, Claranet) for network changes, troubleshoot and resolve network issues, and operate and implement changes for network and cloud network (Azure, AWS). Key Responsibilities: - Implementing and managing complex network security infrastructures. - Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto Firewalls to ensure network security and performance. - Utilizing Prisma cloud, Panoram services for network security and management. - Collaborating with the IT team to develop network flows between different firewall devices. - Monitoring regular network flows and performance, and analyzing results. - Identifying network rules to be deployed when transitioning infrastructure from on-premises to cloud. - Participating in client change management procedures and CAB meetings. - Providing technical support and guidance to team members. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Certification in network security such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or equivalent. - Strong experience in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure including firewalls from Palo Alto, Cisco, and Checkpoint. - Proficiency in utilizing Prisma cloud, Panoram services for network security and management. - Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and third-party support teams.
