Sr Magento Programmer

You will be joining an Ahmedabad based, full-service IT provider that is embarking on a new venture. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Magento Platform based development, customization, maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple websites. Your expertise in software development, architecture, and design will be crucial, along with your familiarity with the Magento community Ecommerce platform. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development, customization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Magento Platform based projects. - Utilize your 3-5 years of experience with Magento to drive E-commerce solutions. - Collaborate on web site development and back-end integration projects. - Apply your solid understanding of OOP principles to create robust solutions. - Utilize knowledge of Magento Web Services to enhance platform capabilities. - Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. - Demonstrate problem-solving skills and efficient time management. - Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results. - Extend or customize existing products/frameworks within the Magento platform. - Experience with off-shore teams will be a plus. Qualifications: - 3-5 years of experience working with Magento. - Strong background in E-commerce. - Proficiency in web site development and back-end integration. - Solid understanding of OOP principles. - Familiarity with Magento Web Services. - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. - Strong problem-solving and time management abilities. - Capability to work in both individual and team environments. - Experience with extending or customizing existing products/frameworks in Magento. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
