Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Logistics Executive to oversee and optimize our supply chain and logistics operations within our manufacturing division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, inventory control, and a proven ability to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics Management:

  Oversee all aspects of logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

• Supply Chain Coordination:

  Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to coordinate and streamline the supply chain process, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.

• Inventory Control:

  Monitor inventory levels, perform regular audits, and implement inventory management best practices to minimize costs while ensuring product availability.

• Process Improvement:

  Assess current logistics processes and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.

• Compliance and Safety:

  Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in logistics and transportation. Promote best practices in safety and risk management.

• Team Leadership:

  Lead and mentor the logistics team, providing guidance and support to ensure team objectives are met. Foster a collaborative and performance-driven work environment.

• Reporting and Analysis:

  Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics, analyze data, and present findings to upper management. Make data-driven recommendations for improvements.

• Budget Management:

  Assist in budgeting for logistics operations, monitor expenditures, and work towards achieving financial efficiency.
