Sr Lead Digital Software Engineer - Back End

As a Senior Back-End Developer at Buckman, a global specialty chemical company committed to environmental safety and sustainable development, you will play a crucial role in the digital transformation journey of the business. Your responsibilities will revolve around cloud application development, system design, coding, database management, code review, mentorship, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and leadership in backend development projects. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop scalable, high-performance, and secure back-end systems. - Make architectural decisions and choose appropriate technologies for the stack. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using languages like Python, Java, or others. - Develop, test, and deploy new features and enhancements to existing systems. - Design and manage database schemas, relationships, and indexing. - Review code written by junior developers, provide feedback, and enforce coding standards. - Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions. - Contribute to the technical strategy and architecture of the back-end. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 12 years of experience in backend development, with at least 8 years focused on cloud-based applications. - Proficiency in Azure Services like Azure IoT Hub, Functions, Cosmos DB, etc. - Strong experience in Dot Net Core, C# MVC, React JS, React Native, Azure DevOps, and Infrastructure. - Knowledge of Relational/Non-Relational Databases like SQL and Cosmos DB. - Problem-solving skills, critical thinking ability, and strong communication skills. - Microsoft Certified Technical Architect (AZ 305) is mandatory. - Experience working on IOT Platforms and full stack SaaS development. - Deployment experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and deployment strategies.
