Sr. Java Developer

As a Java Developer at Tech Lead Level, you will be responsible for utilizing your 8-10 years of experience in Java Development to design, code, implement, and deploy independently. In addition, you will have the opportunity to lead a small team of engineers in the future. This role requires expertise in Java, AWS, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in designing and building cloud-native platforms using the standard Java stack, particularly on AWS. You should possess solid experience in Spring Boot and associated frameworks, prioritize testing first, and have an in-depth understanding of automated unit and functional testing tools and frameworks. Hands-on experience with observability tools like DataFog and Splunk is preferred. Your responsibilities will include developing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, understanding data pipeline architecture, designing solutions with a focus on security, and working with Microservices, Event streaming, and Data pipelines. Strong database programming skills in both SQL and NoSQL Databases are essential, along with experience in troubleshooting tools like Splunk and Datadog. You will be expected to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, following best design and software engineering practices, design principles, patterns, and unit testing. Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms such as AWS, version control systems like Git, and CI/CD pipelines is required. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and project management tools like JIRA will be beneficial. This is a contract position for 18 months, which may be converted based on performance. The salary range for this position is 26-28 LPA, and the work location is in Hyderabad. The mode of work is hybrid, with an immediate/30-day notice period. The work schedule is Monday to Friday in the morning shift.
