Sr Java developer (AWS+SQL)

As a Java Developer at our company, you will be responsible for building high-quality backend services, optimizing data workflows, integrating cloud services, and contributing to the full software development lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and secure applications. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Core Java, Java 8+, and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks. - Write efficient, optimized SQL queries and work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.). - Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, etc. - Participate in architectural discussions, requirement analysis, and solution design. - Build RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with internal and external systems. - Identify performance bottlenecks and ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices. - Troubleshoot complex issues across application layers and support production deployments. - Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams for continuous delivery and improvements. **Qualifications Required:** - 4-6 years of hands-on development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. - Strong proficiency in SQL, database schema design, and query optimization. - Practical experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-based application development. - Good understanding of REST API development and integration patterns. - Experience with version control systems (Git), build tools (Maven/Gradle), and CI/CD pipelines. - Solid knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms. - Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
