Sr. IT Data Analyst

Role Overview: As a Senior IT Data Analyst at Persistent Ltd., you will be responsible for performing data analysis for various data stores and supporting business intelligence/data warehouse methodologies. Your role will involve gathering business requirements, creating source-to-target mappings, developing scalable reporting processes, and ensuring data integrity. You will also be involved in research on complex data/analytical issues and providing end-to-end solutions for data issues in a production setting. Key Responsibilities: - Gather business requirements for analytical applications in an iterative/agile development model - Create source-to-target mapping and rules definitions based on requirements - Gather and prepare analysis from internal and external sources to evaluate program effectiveness and efficiency - Support Data Governance activities and ensure data integrity - Develop scalable reporting processes and conduct ad hoc analyses - Research complex functional data/analytical issues - Take end-to-end responsibility to quickly solve data issues in a production setting - Educate data consumers on data profiles and issues Qualifications Required: - 8 to 12 years of experience in IT data analysis - Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data modeling concepts like Snowflake - Aptitude for learning new data flows quickly and participating in data quality and automation discussions - Knowledge of Data Platforms, Data as a Service model, and Data Ops practices - Working knowledge of Kafka, Databricks, GitHub, Airflow, Azure is highly preferred Additional Company Details: Persistent Ltd. is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
