Sr. iOS Developer

As a Mobile Application Engineer at our company, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance mobile applications. You will have the opportunity to manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while building products that can scale globally. Collaborating with fellow designers and developers, you will work in an iterative environment with short and impactful development cycles, aiming to develop cutting-edge functional modules and kits for integration across all our iOS apps. Your role will also involve building proprietary SDKs to facilitate partnerships with other industry leaders. You will be encouraged to brainstorm, contribute new ideas, devise innovative strategies, and implement solutions to challenging problems. Working closely with our backend team, you will interface with RESTful API services and contribute to backend code as necessary. Real-time feedback from users will be used to continuously improve our products, necessitating a cycle of discovery, design, development, deployment, and debugging. In terms of qualifications, we are seeking engineers with a track record of shipping iOS apps with a substantial user base, preferably currently available on the App Store. Proficiency in Swift and Apple's SDKs and frameworks such as Foundation, UIKit, and Core Data, as well as expertise in using Xcode, are essential. A strong command of memory management, view hierarchy, battery optimization, and extensive experience with multi-threaded and networked applications is highly valued. Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party SDK integrations, and technologies like HTTPS, JSON, OAuth, and SQL is also required. Furthermore, a focus on product design and precise implementation of design into code is crucial. Proficiency in version control systems like Git and Gitflow, along with a dedication to quality, performance, and thorough testing, is expected. The ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technology environments, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are indispensable. Knowledge of SwiftUI, AI, and machine learning will be advantageous.
