Sr. GL Accountant

Key Responsibilities: - Work with other departments to gather and analyze relevant information needed for month-end close. - Review existing worksheets and prepare journal entries for month-end close. - Perform account analysis to ensure journal entries and balances are correct. - Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for the assigned GL accounts. - Gather data and prepare tables or reports for quarterly audits and year-end audits. - Follow the SOX process and gather supporting documentation for controls. - Conduct P&L variance analysis. - Assist with financial audits by providing related supporting documentation and reports. - Demonstrate knowledge of financial processes, accounting policies, systems, controls, and work streams. - Work with the Revenue team to ensure revenue is recognized correctly. - Prepare working files for commissions for all sales employees. Qualifications Required: - B.Com/M.Com/MBA - 5-8 years of G/L experience - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Experience with NetSuite preferred - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.,
