To conduct rotary engineering & maintenance activities as per defined plan and highlight risks on time and suggesting corrective measures, with the objective maximizing equipment availability, reliability and integrity
SECTION IV: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE
Responsibilities
Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Adhere to standard analysis and reporting methods or work instructions
- Follow applicable HSEF procedures/ practices with awareness about environmental statutory regulations and safety protocols
- Keep self abreast with leading rotary maintenance practices & trends and contribute to the identification of continuous improvement of systems, processes and procedures
- Assist peers in daily activities ensuring alignment with approved policies and procedures
- Self-initiative for trainings to enhance competencies and participation in training as per requirement
- Train internal faculty in use of rotary equipment
- Engineering & Maintenance OperationsPrepare preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance to the maintenance procedures
- Perform condition monitoring and analysis of rotating equipment and provide recommendations on machine health
- Provide inputs for planning and scheduling of critical rotating equipment overhauling. Supervise quality checks during overhauling of critical rotating equipment
- Perform failure analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of repetitive failures and report findings. Apply the learnings from RCA to proactively increase the reliability of other assets
- Assist plant maintenance in troubleshooting critical problems. Assess in repair and refurbishment of rotating equipment/ components
- Optimize maintenance tasks/ frequencies
- Provide technical support for critical and insurance spares review
- Provide assistance for erection and commissioning of new equipment

Education Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
Experience
3-7 years of experience in engineering & maintenance discipline, with at least 1-3 years of experience in rotating equipment troubleshooting, maintenance and condition monitoring, equipment erection and commissioning is requiredFunctional / Behavioral competencies required to execute the roleFUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES
