Job Description

As a Mechanical Integrity Engineer, your role involves driving Mechanical Integrity and Quality assurance systems to ensure the safety and reliability of Fixed Equipment, Relief Systems, and Rotating equipment. Your key responsibilities include: - Defining, implementing, and sustaining risk management initiatives to achieve continuous improvement and compliance with industry/regulatory changes related to Mechanical Integrity. - Tracking, reporting, and identifying trends in Mechanical Integrity on equipment. - Aligning MIQA programs with OMS group essentials and guidelines. - Providing technical advice to the maintenance team to evaluate threats, ensure adherence to procedures, and complete work in accordance with technical procedures. - Ensuring comprehensive reporting and communication of actions resulting from inspection activities. - Conducting root cause analysis and failure investigations on systems and equipment when required. - Providing timely and accurate reports to the Team Lead, highlighting anomalies and recommending necessary actions. - Planning Mechanical Integrity audits and carrying out Inspection, quality assurance, maintenance, and safety audits as needed. - Managing inspection data in systems like Meridium, SAP, BIF, etc. - Monitoring Contractor's performance daily in terms of progress, manpower, and equipment deployment. - Ensuring all Construction activities adhere to the Company's HSE Policy. - Participating in the development of inspection and test plans for plant equipment. - Reviewing drawings and specifications to determine the quantity and type of insulation required. Your skills and competencies should include: - Knowledge of various Codes & Standards. - Familiarity with Reliance OMS. - Understanding of insulation, painting, and structural integrity. - Proficiency in SAP PM & MM Module. - Experience in piping and static equipment inspection and maintenance in the refining and petrochemical industry. - Advantageous to hold certifications such as API, CSWIP/CWI, SSPC, NACE. - Knowledge of non-destructive testing techniques applicable to inspection of plant equipment. - Good understanding of construction and inspection codes. **Education Required:** - Bachelor's degree in mechanical or civil engineering. **Experience Required:** - Minimum of 5-6 years of working experience in the manufacturing, inspection, and maintenance of refining and petrochemical business.,
