Measurement Data Configuration Engineer PACCAR Global Connected Services As Configuration Engineer for Measurement Data you will ensure that various sets of vehicle usage data are collected from the truck remotely `over the air in a backend IoT application, from where the data will be distributed to

consuming applications for a vast range of business services and business purposes. In order manage the Measurement Data you will be configuring how the data is collected from the vehicle CAN bus and by a telematics connectivity device (TCU) sent to the backend.

The Measurement Data Configuration Engineer will work in the `Measurement Data Management (MDM) team of the Global Connected Services department.

This scrum team works in 2 week sprints delivering configurations that have been designed, developed and tested according to requirements. As a Measurement Data Configuration Engineer it is your task is to work on the entire sprint process, from design to testing.

The MDM team consists of mostly engineers with a similar profile as this and few business process analysts ensuring that all designs and data configurations are documented. collect information/requirements from different internal stakeholders able to work in a 'dynamic' and innovative environment, stress resilient able to quickly show results to product owner with little handover located near Eindhoven (at least 3 days a week on site required) good knowledge of English as working language Experience and knowledge: general automotive knowledge and basic understanding of functional vehicle behavior general understanding of data streaming knowledge of high frequency data transmission concepts such as Confluent,

Apache Kafka working knowledge of CAN networks, e.g. dbc files, can interfaces, wiring harnesses, hex and binary calculation) understanding of SAE J1939 and FMS standards experience in Agile environments and working in scrum teams experience in validating incomplete/undocumented software applications pre:
