Measurement Data Management Business/Information Analyst Global Connected Services As Business/Information Analyst for Measurement Data Management (MDM) you will ensure that various sets of vehicle usage data are collected from the truck remotely `over the air in a backend IoT application, from where the data will be distributed to consuming applications for a vast range of business services and business purposes. In order to manage the Measurement Data you will be configuring how the data is collected from the vehicle CAN bus and by a telematics connectivity device (TCU) sent to the backend. The MDM Business Analyst will work in the `Measurement Data Management Team (MDM team) of the PACCAR Global Connected Services department. This team follows the scrum framework and works in 2 week sprints delivering measurement configurations that have been designed, developed and tested according to requirements. The MDM team also defines and documents their business processes and Way of Working, ensuring that all designs and data configurations are dealt with and documented properly. Personality and competences: an analyst through and through, enjoying analyzing business and IT issues, processes and information, accessible and good communication skills to find and align with involved stakeholders (and they can easily find and approach you), be assertive, dare to take the initiative be able to define business and functional requirements based on input from stakeholders be able to write design documentation be able to backwards define requirements when not formally received/documented be able to work in a `dynamic and innovative environment, stress resilient be able to quickly show results to product owner with little handover be able to work 2 3 days a week on site in Eindhoven good knowledge of English as working language, Dutch is a pre preferred to be able to communicate with multiple nationalities over different time zones Experience and knowledge: experience in writing requirements and design documents general ICE and BEV automotive knowledge and basic understanding of functional vehicle behavior working knowledge of CAN networks, e.g. dbc files, can interfaces, hex and binary calculations understanding of automotive standards such as SAE J1939 and (r)FMS general understanding of data streaming knowledge of high frequency data transmission concepts such as RabbitMQ, Confluent, Apache Kafka experience in Agile environments and working in scrum teams experience with validating/testing embedded software experience with data analysis/validation (validation of large amounts of data) Skills: Azure DevOps Snowflake/SQL JSON + REST APIs Pre: Python (generic scripting, robot framework, flask, pandas) pre: MicroFocus ALM
